Whistler is divided into two locations. Whistler Creekside is the old village of Whistler before it became what we know today. It is a much quieter location to stay in comparison to being in the main village of Whistler.
You can ski from Whistler Creekside. There is a gondola that will take you up to Whistler Mountain.

What To Know Before You Go – Skiing In Whistler
Winter tires are required to drive on the Sea to Sky Highway between October 1st to March 31st.

From Creekside Village, you will want to be at the Sarajevo Drive bus stop heading towards Whistler Village or “To Village.” It will take approximately 15 minutes, or if you are counting, 11 stops to get to Whistler Village.
You will want to get off at Gondola Transit Exchange Post 3, which will take you to close the base of the Whistler Village Gondola Lift.
From Whistler, you will want to get on the bus at the Gondola Transit Exchange Post 2 bus stop heading towards “Spring Creek.” And again, 11 stops back. Then get off at Sarajevo Drive.
The bus fare is $2.50 CAD and is cash only, and the bus drivers will not have any change on them. However, other pass rates are available if you plan to use the transit bus system.
